2020 Weight Loss Tips

Today we give you the top 6 ways to help you lose weight and keep the weight off in 2020…and beyond! Welcome to Dr. Devin’s Wellness Wednesday Workshop where my goal is to help you maintain or improve your active lifestyle. The tips are written out below the video.

 

 

Tips to lose weight

  1. Drink water
    1. 1/2 your weight in pounds = the number of ounces of water that you need to drink every day.
      1. 200 lbs. = 100 oz.
      2. 150 lbs. = 75 oz.
  2. Eat less food. You can’t out exercise a poor diet.
    1. If you decrease your calories by 500 calories per day, you should lose an average of 1 lb. per week.
    2. You would need to burn 3,500 calories during exercise to lose only 1 lb.
  3. Young Living Lemon Vitality Oil.
    1. Add 1 drop to 8 oz. of water.
    2. It helps break down toxins (especially petrochemicals – plastics) to help you eliminate them and break down fat.
  4. Nature’s Ultra Cinnamon CBD Oil
    1. It helps curb your sugar cravings.
    2. Carbohydrates are only ever necessary if you are going to do intense physical activity over the next 2-3 hours.
  5. Intermittent fasting.
    1. If you fast for 16 hours, your body will be able to start burning fat.
    2. Fast for 16 hours and eat over an 8 hour period.
      1. i.e. Eat from noon – 8:00 PM. Fast from 8:00 PM – Noon (the next day)
  6. Exercise
    1. Building lean muscle mass increases your resting calorie needs.
    2. The more muscle you have, the more calories your body burns while resting.
